Who is Harlow Gardens for?

Adults 18 and older who are struggling with alcohol or drug use, including people with co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression or trauma.

How long is residential treatment?

Length of stay depends on your clinical needs and progress. The average stay is 30 to 60 days, and extended care recommendations are available. Our admissions team can explain what to expect in your situation.

Do I need detox before residential treatment?

Not always. Our team reviews your recent substance use during admissions and recommends whether withdrawal support should come first. Learn about detox.

Do you treat mental health conditions?

Yes. We provide integrated dual diagnosis care for depression, trauma, family and relationship conflict and other concerns that occur alongside substance use.

Can family members visit or take part?

When it is appropriate, yes. Family involvement is highly encouraged, and a family therapy specialist offers one-on-one and group sessions for families. Visiting is scheduled in coordination with each client's treatment team.
