Out-of-network coverage

What out-of-network coverage means for you

Many PPO and other commercial plans include out-of-network benefits that can help cover residential treatment.

  • Out-of-network benefits

Your plan may cover part of the cost of care from a provider outside its network, depending on your policy.

  • Deductibles and coinsurance

Out-of-network benefits often have their own deductible and coinsurance. We explain yours before you are admitted.

  • Claims support

Our insurance specialist supports out-of-network claims, so you are not left to handle the paperwork alone.

Questions

Common questions about insurance and payment

If you do not see your question here, our admissions team is glad to help.

Do you accept my insurance?

We work with most commercial insurance plans on an out-of-network basis, including most PPO plans with out-of-network benefits. Because every policy is different, the best way to know is a free benefits check.

Is Harlow Gardens in network with my plan?

Harlow Gardens is an out-of-network provider. Out-of-network benefits can still help cover the cost of treatment, and our team will explain what your plan may cover.

Do you accept HMO plans, Medi-Cal, Medicare or TRICARE?

Not at this time. HMO plans generally do not include out-of-network benefits, and Harlow Gardens is not enrolled with Medi-Cal, Medicare or TRICARE. If one of these is your coverage, our admissions team can still talk through your options.

What does private pay include?

Private pay is an all-inclusive program for detox and residential treatment, with clear, predictable pricing. Contact admissions for details.

Do you work with Indian Health Service or tribal programs?

Yes. We work with Indian Health Service and tribal health programs through single case agreements. Our admissions team can help coordinate the process.

Is the benefits check confidential?

Yes. Your information is handled under HIPAA and federal confidentiality rules for substance use treatment records, and it is never sold or shared for marketing. Read our Notice of Privacy Practices.
